Here at Nicola’s Scents we have always had a passion for anything that makes our house smell amazing, we were constantly trying various wax melts from different companies and Nicola went on to sell wax melts for a very well known company within the wax melt industry.

​It was a couple of years into doing this that we realised that there was a gap in the market for a stylish and modern, ‘homemade’ brand and that we could do this ourselves.

We started making wax melts in March 2019 just for our own use at home, fell in love with the concept and making them and went on to start making them to sell in July 2019. 

We pride ourselves on the fact that customers will regularly say that our wax melts have a great scent throw that lasts just as long, if not longer than the bigger brands. 

All of our products are poured and packaged with love and care and we ensure that each melt meets the great standard we are known and loved for everytime.

We now have an amazing customer base which we could not be more grateful for.

We use a vegan wax blend as our base with a low melt point that we find gives you a lovely scent throw when warmed in any burner, including the low watt type. We only use high quality fragrance oils and we use the highest fragrance load approved for the wax.

Into the end of 2022/early 2023 we launched other home fragrance products too such as hoover discs, carpet freshener, simmering granules and room & car sprays which have gone down a treat, with more home fragrance to come in 2024!

In 2022 Nicola bought a Cricut machine, Sublimation printer and a mug press so went on to add other crafts to the product line such as personalised tumblers, mugs, lots of accessories personalised to suit yourself and also some handcrafted quirky jewellery too.

We do also have some fabulous wholesale items too which make great gifts and keepsakes.

In January 2024 Nicola was signed off legally with assessments to create cosmetics too and a whole range of Bath & Body products will be launching through 2024 too!

We are super excited to see what the future holds for Nicola’s Scents! We can not wait to expand the business further and create a one stop shop for treats and gifts for everyone.

Nicola’s Scents is a small, home run business and the business is ran around working and family life successfully. Everything is done by ourselves from choosing scents, designing, making, packaging, and sorting for either postage or hand delivering locally.

Nicola’s Scents is fully insured and CLP compliant to the standards required to be able to sell legally in the UK for both home fragrance and our range of bath & body care.
